That's right, Dee won the "Most Inspiring Corset Creation" award at the Texas Latex Party for the second year in a row.

She's been shopping online for corsets since her birthday last September (my present to her was a clothes shopping spree). But it took her forever to finally choose a few. I kept telling her that a spree was an "unrestrained indulgence", but she wanted everything perfect. I guess she showed me, because her corsets were awe-inspiring. Of course, all three were custom made for her.

The maroon and black "saloon" corset on the left is from Versatile Fashions, and the wasp-waisted creation on the right is from Corset Connection.

Saturday afternoon we had the raunchy rodeo, and Mistress Precious outdid herself with the decorating. I had burned a country western mix CD for the DJ, and Leather Whips and Rubber Underwear by Hog Whitman was a crowd favorite.

I of course wore my new cowboy boots (freshly blacked by a champion boot-black at South Plains Leather Fest), and Dee wore her pony tack, which has a Paul C leather corset as its base.

She was a big hit at the rodeo, because all the cowboys wanted their photo taken with Gadget the Purple Pony.

She got so hot I made sure she had a chance to drink (who says you can't make 'em drink).

I guess I really shouldn't be surprised at Dee's corset success. I was looking through the Luvbight Archives and I found this photo of her ancestors from Western Ireland. It seems Dee's great-great-grandmother had a thing for corsets and cowboys, too.
