We spent this weekend in Austin, Texas.

Thursday we had a two girl photo shoot with Dee and Sunshine, and those photos should be on the site soon.

Friday we went to see The Notorious Bettie Page at the Alamo Drafthouse, a quirky chain of movie theaters in Austin. The movie was paired with a live burlesque show by the Redlight Burlesque group.

We really enjoyed the movie; it had a great period feel and Gretchen Mol does a great job of capturing the innocence and sexuality of the original Bettie. Pairing it with a live burlesque show made for a great evening. Not surprisingly, we recognized quite a few local fetish people in the audience (just look for the latex, corsets and slave collars).

Saturday we went to a large private party given by some Austin friends, and Sunday we decided to hang out at home, taking time out to do a rope suspension from a nice live oak tree.
