At the end of January, 2006, we flew down to Augusta for the Augusta Iron Rose Society Wicked Winter Workshop.
The second workshop was on the use of boiling water to heat branding irons for both temporary and permanent brands. Since we didn't actually brand ourselves, we don't have any photos we can show from that workshop. After a nice dinner, it was our turn to present a rope workshop and demonstration on suspension.
We did one suspension with a box arm tie over the arms, and another with our diamond pattern torso harness and Lew's hip harness. After the demonstrations, there was a play party. I opted to spend a quiet 45 minutes tying another Japanese Bend Net onto Dee, but this time we used six 30' ropes and a much tighter weave on the net. I managed to suspend Dee horizontally on her back using this net, and the results were much more comfortable than the last try.
