Red Rock Photoshoot
2005-02-22
 2005-03-03, Vegas Trip

Last week we were on vacation in Las Vegas, and unlike previous trips, we spent several days away from the casinos driving around the desert and shooting lots of photos outside.

We started the trip by driving three hours to Cleveland to catch a direct flight. We have been avoiding US Airways for most trips, because they don't have as many direct flights as they used to, and we've been worried about them disappearing all together.

You can see from the photo that once we leave Pittsburgh, Dee turns her collar around so the lock is in the front. During the flight, Dee was reading Owned and Owner by Anneke Jacob, one of her online friends. She wrote this review:

I really liked this book. It is a science-fantasy story of a universe where men and women live on separate planets. Etrin, a young woman dreams of being completely owned by a "man". When she learns that she can choose to be sent to the planet Henth (where the men reside) and sold into slavery as an option for breaking the law, she purposely sets out to obtain this goal. To be sent to Henth, where women are enslaved and considered nothing more than rare and exotic animals. It covers many areas of BDSM - pony play, chastity belts, floggers, suspension, teasing and denial, and total power exchange, while also giving details on the emotions and feelings that happen between a slave and Master.

I found this book very easy to read and very erotic.

It was good that Dee had a fun book to read...rain and low clouds in Las Vegas caused a one hour delay before we even took off. When we landed in Vegas, we found that a massive storm off the coast of California was bringing rain to a huge area including all of Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.

We stayed at New York, New York. This was our first time at this Casino. Our take is that this casino is aimed at a somewhat younger crowd; we had a difficult time finding a club with a good dance floor that didn't have a huge line.

Friday night we met Rob and Denise from California for dinner, and then we all went to the SinCityDS Social. We met a lot of nice people there. Thanks to Vixen for hosting the munch.

Saturday we met Master's Kelly and Paul and their harem of slaves. We spent the afternoon listening to a jam session with their band, and then Saturday night we went with Master Paul to a local swinger's club called The Red Rooster. This was a very educational experience for us. Some of the things we learned:

  • There are a LOT more swingers than there are BDSM players
  • The swingers are a lot better organized
  • Dee and I aren't really swingers.
We had a lot of fun playing with Paul and his girls, but we had to be "behind closed doors" to do BDSM, so as not to scare or offend the swingers. A typical BDSM scene takes a lot longer than the typical activities that go on behind closed doors at a swingers club. We'd have been better off going to our hotel room; our room was larger, our bed was more comfortable and there would have been no knock on the door after 45 minutes to interrupt us.

Dee and I like playing in front of people; we feed off the energy of those watching, so being locked away in a small room takes away from our experience. Aside from that, we were very impressed by the scale of the Rooster's club. There was a nice dance floor with a live band (a much nicer dance floor than at NY-NY). There was food and drink (alcohol is BYOB, but they provided mixers and bar staff), and the whole place was well equipped and organized.

So if you are a swinger, this would be a nice place to go.

Sunday morning we went to Red Rock Canyon Sunday morning we met Sir Anthony who gave us a guided tour of the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. This is a spectacular desert mountain range just 15 miles west of Las Vegas. For an entrance fee of $6 per car, you can drive on the 13 mile scenic loop through beatiful surroundings.

Naturally we took advantage of the opportunity to find secluded spaces to take photos of Dee topless and naked. We stopped at a parking area with a large bush, and we took Dee behind the bush for these photos. There were a couple of cyclists riding around waiting for one of their party who was fixing a flat.

This is what they could have seen if they'd gotten off their bikes are looked around the bush:

Flashing the bicycle trail One of our Yahoo members wanted bare feet So here you go, bare everything

And to those who've been complaining that Dee always wears shoes, I made her take a few photos naked and barefoot.

Tits and 4WD, only in Vegas About halfway around the scenic loop is an unpaved road that leads to a place called "Rocky Gap". The recent rains had washed out Rocky Gap, but we could still go part of the way. Fortunately, we'd rented a 4WD SUV for the trip, and we were able to go up to the point where the road was washed out (we could have probably made it all the way through, but we didn't try).

Dee as "Gadget the Purple Pony" Instead we stopped and dressed Dee in her pony gear for an outdoor shoot. The temperature was a cool 50 degrees, but this was one of those rare occasions where we had an assistant; Sir Anthony helped by wrangling the pony gear, taking a couple of photos of Mick dressing Dee, and especially helping Dee navigate the rocky terrain in her Kayser pony boots and by wrapping her in her cloak between takes to keep her from turning too blue for the photos.

Dee's pony collar makes a great showgirl piece After the pony shoot, I left Dee's chevron chain collar and nipple bells in place while we drove around the rest of the scenic loop, and we stopped for more flashing photos.

You can visit Sir Anthony's web site at MyPonyGirl.com (and please note that he has our permission to post the photos he took of Dee during this shoot).

My photos of Dee as a Desert Pony will be updated here later this month.

Monday night we went to see the Cirque du Soleil show Zumanity. The show was great: it was like a normal fetish show with high production quality aerial acts interwoven.

Dee wore her Paul C Leathers Green Suede corset, a long flowing black skirt and the matching collar but not the cuffs. She got a few stares from the staff who must have wondered whether she was kinky, and she got a lots of stares from the waiting audience members who wondered whether she was in the show. Since we sat in the first row, Dee got one of the roses given away in the opening scene.

Dee's favorite part was an aerial act that featured a woman dancer who tied herself with ribbons that lifted her high into the air (small photo at left). She simulated breath play and orgasm during suspension.

Most of the audience didn't "get it", but Dee was breathing heavily for the entire act; she loves breath play. We had a great time and heartily recommend the show.

Waiting for the flight to LA, Dee wears her Valentine's Day Gift Tuesday we flew to LA for a private party with friends of ours we met in Jamaica.

For the flight, Dee wore her Valentine's Day present, a camisole-tee from Twisted Monk.

The party Tuesday night was great; we got to meet some old friends and lots of new ones from the Bondage industry. Much as I'd love to drop names, since it was a private party I don't feel comfortable doing that. I can say that while we were there we toured the photo studios of Fetish Nation, one of our favorite pay BDSM sites. We also got to sleep in Jewell Marceau's bed (sadly she was out of town on a shoot that night).
