There are two kinds of electrical devices, the high-frequency current from a violet wand, and the lower frequency current of a TENS unit (short for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). We both prefer the less stingy sensation of the TENS. For TENS play, you need a power source, somce wires, and two electrodes. The current passes from the power unit through one electrode, through the skin (that's the "transcutaneous" part"), and out through the second electrode back to the power unit.

We really like the Erostek units that provide several different programs for pulsing the current. Mick's favorite setting to use of Dee is the "audio" program; the unit has a small microphone and varies the power in proportion to the noise in the room. On the "sensitive" setting, Dee cannot make any noise above a whipser without shocking herself.
