Studio Corset

Here are the first shots from our new studio at the ranch. The new space is 30'x30' with a 12' rollup door on one side and a mezzanine overlooking it (that way we can get good high shots). The rollup door leads to the shop area where I keep the welder.

Of course, 95% of our toys are still in boxes, and over half of those are in the house instead of the studio. I still have a lot of unpacking to do. But at least I found the power cords for the monolights!

Also you can see for the first time in four years we have our four-sided metal suspension frame that we built for Burning Man in 2004. For years we had one side of this frame installed in our bedroom, but now all the pieces are together again.

This is just a warmup shoot; we expect to take a lot of great photos here over the next few years.
